How arnica montana produced?
- It is made from arnica tree, its tincture is produced.
- Arnica montana is very essential remedy and used worldwide. It is the major remedy for injuries, fall pain wheather blood clot or pain, blows. Tinnitus in ear, contusions, septic conditions, apoplexy- paralysis conditions , involuntary urination etc are the major cases.
- Mental and Physical Symptoms related to Arnica Montana patient-
- Person has adequate blood in his body with good red face.
- Person having problem in venomous system and stressful nerve including head, brain( weather acute or chronic)
- If the body has small black-blue spots (purpura)
- If the patient has the tendency of haemorrhage and having low grade fever

Precautions of Arnica Montana –
- Arnica montana cannot be used for many repeated dose, patient should stop the dose after getting relief, otherwise aggravation of Arnica Montana can be observed, prolonged or unprescribed use /overuse of this medicine can result – black blue spots (purpura), contraction of rectum (constipation) , unusual reduction in urination, and lastly it can affect the nerves and brain(As per William Boericke )
Other important cases of Arnica Montana-
1 Shock –
- Indifference, fear touch, want to be left alone after mental strain or shock.
2. Confusion and Vertigo- in Arnica Montana patient
- patient remains confused blot with a cold body, chronic Vertigo.
3. Diplopia(objects seen two)
- Meningitis, Must keep eyes open dizzy on closing them.
4.Nasal bleeding – Arnica Mont
- unusual nasal bleeding of dark fluid blood.
5. taste –
- Bitter or rotten egg taste with thirst.
6. Insomnia-
sleeplessness and restless feeling when overtired, dreams of death, horror feeling at night.
7. Involuntary urination and stool-
- patient may feel involuntary urination and involuntary stool pass during sleep.
8. Pain
- in the False ribs sharp thurst through the abdomen.
9. Diarrhea – Arnica Mont
- Involuntary brown or bloody diarrhea. is the very important symptom of patient of Arnica Mont.
10. Rheumatism – effects of Arnica Mont.
- if started in fingers and toes and ascends like the symptoms of ledum paul.
Antidote – Arnica Mont.
- Camphor, In my experience limited doses doesn’t require antidote, generally I follow the symptoms after taking medicine if it is ok then no need of antidote, If immediate aggravation seen but its mild, then the symptoms go away its own and disease will cure. and it is sure that the medicine selected is right but If the aggravation is high Then I have to use the antidote if any unusual symptom arise.
Amelioration
- Sleeping with laying head down or in open air.
Aggravation –
- Touch, motion, cold, humid weather , or alcohol intake.
POTENCY AND DOSE OF HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICINES
- According to Dr. NC Ghosh, New students and practitioners are sometimes get confused about the dose and potency, In acute diseases low potencies are good like 3x, 6x, 30x but in Chronic or old diseases high power like 200, 1m, 1cm etc are preferable.
- Dose- As per NC GHOSH and Hahnemann homoeopathic medicine should be low for better result, Globules of ,10, 15 or 30 size that absorbed the liquid medicine liquid properly – taking 3-4 globules directly on tongue
- Or
- 7-8 globules mixed with 2(two) ounce distilled water and two (2) tea spoon of that water can be taken with 4 hours interval or less as per need in acute diseases. But in Chronic Diseases after that 1- 2 dose patient and practitioners wait for 1-2 week. Selection of single Medicine as per the totality of symptoms is more preferable.
- Medicine should be taken 1 hour before meal with fresh mouth. After taking medicine nothing can be eaten by the patient within 1 hour.
- Precautions–
- Homoeopathic medicine if taken you should avoid GARLIC, ONION, GINGER, SOUR OR CITRIC ACIDIC SUBSTANCES, CARBONATED SOFT DRINKS, for better result.
- Aggravation – If any disease increases or aggravated after taking medicine, Don’t worry about that the selection is right and it will be cured with time, no further dose needed immediately. But make sure that the aggravation is done by the medicine given, practitioner should differentiate between the normal and medicine related aggravated conditions.
- Aphorism 247 of 6th Edition of Organon of Medicine says that – By shaking the liquid 10-15 times hardly before taking, the potency is altered slightly and the vital force will not show any aggravation by this method medicine continues healing without aggravation.
